1. Authorized Hirer

1.1 The Authorized Hirer is obligated to produce a valid Singapore Class 3/3A Driving License, Provisional Driving Licence(PDVL), NRIC or valid International Driving License, Passport and guarantees that he/she is not under any suspension order on the License.

2. Rental Period, Rates and Renewal

2.1 The initial rental period for the vehicle leased under this Agreement shall be one (1) year, commencing from the date of this Agreement.

2.2 Upon the expiration of the initial rental period, this Agreement shall automatically renew for successive one (1) year terms unless either party provides written notice of termination to the other party at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of the current rental period.

2.3 All rates quoted are in Singapore Currency (SGD) and prices include insurance, road tax, servicing and unlimited mileage warranty.

2.4 *Please note that car accessories will not be provided (E.g: Phone mount, AUX cable, charging port, p-plate)

3. Rental and Payment Terms

3.1 This agreement shall be effective to the vehicle details stated in Rental Agreement Section A

3.2. Upon confirmation to this rental agreement, a min of $500 deposit must be placed to proceed with this agreement. This amount will be refunded upon termination in accordance with remaining clauses stated in this agreement.

3.3 The rental amount for the vehicle shall be as shown on the booking details. 

3.4 The Hirer shall pay the rental amount on a weekly basis in advance, with the first payment due upon the execution of this Agreement and subsequent payments due on the first day of each week.

3.5 Payments shall be made to the Company via paynow to UEN: 202412031D.

3.6 All payments shall be made in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

3.7 All outstanding charges arising from the rental period must be cleared by the hirer at the point of confirmation on rental. JKJ Nexus Solutions Pte. Ltd. will activate to repossess the vehicle and charge the hirer a repossession fee of SGD$500.00 if extension payment is not made by the time frame given by the company, verbally or through any forms of writing to the hirer.

3.8 No part of any rental charges in any circumstances be refundable except at the discretion of the company.

4. Insurance and Coverage

4.1 The rental amount may/may not include Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) coverage. CDW reduces the Hirer's liability for damage to the vehicle, subject to the terms and conditions of the CDW policy.

4.2 The Hirer shall be responsible for any excess or deductible amounts under the CDW policy.

5. Replacement Vehicle and Rental Fee Waiver

5.1 Vehicle Breakdown: In the event of a vehicle breakdown, the Company will provide a replacement vehicle, subject to availability, or else the rental fee for the original vehicle will be waived for the duration of the downtime, which is the period during which the vehicle is not operational due to the breakdown.

5.2 Accidents: If the vehicle is involved in an accident and the Hirer is not at fault, the Company will provide a replacement vehicle or else the rental fee for the original vehicle will be waived for the duration of the downtime, which is the period during which the vehicle is not operational due to the accident.

5.3 The Hirer must notify the Company immediately of any breakdowns or accidents and cooperate with any investigations or procedures related to such incidents.

6. Maintenance and Repairs

6.1 The Company shall be responsible for all routine maintenance and repairs required for the vehicle to remain in good working order.

6.2 The Hirer shall notify the Company of any required repairs or maintenance, and the Hirer shall not undertake any repairs or modifications without the prior written consent of the Company.

7. Use of Vehicle

7.1 The vehicle shall be used only for lawful purposes and by authorized drivers as specified in the Agreement.

7.2 The Hirer shall ensure that the vehicle is operated in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

7.3 The Hirer shall not sublease, assign, or transfer their rights under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the Company.

8. Liability and Indemnity

8.1 The Hirer shall be liable for any loss or damage to the vehicle not covered by CDW, including but not limited to loss or damage due to negligence, misuse, or violation of the terms of this Agreement.

8.2 The Hirer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of the Hirer’s use of the vehicle.

8.3 The Hirer will also be fully liable for all parking, traffic fines, ERP charges or any other miscellaneous charges during the rental period.

8.4 The Hirer shall refrain from smoking, eating or carrying pets in the vehicle. A cleaning charge of $300.00 will be levied for smoke odors and $150.00 for deep cleaning should the condition of the vehicle be found to be unacceptable.

8.5 The Hirer shall strictly adhere locally and/or overseas, to all Traffic Police regulations, LTA regulations and/or Law of Singapore and/or any other regulation being directly or indirectly committed in Singapore or Overseas related to the Company vehicle, and perform at your utmost responsible manner. Should the Hirer be found to be in any manner, directly or indirectly violating any laws and/or regulations, the Company has all the rights to repossess the vehicle without any prior notice to the Hirer, and a penalty equivalent to 2 months total rental fees will be charged to the hirer, excluding any other cost that may be incur arising from any offenses committed. This clause is non-exhaustive and not limited to Singapore only.

9. Termination

9.1 Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing written notice to the other party at least thirty (30) days prior to the end of the current rental period.

9.2 If this Agreement is terminated by the Hirer before the completion of the one (1) year rental period, the Hirer shall be liable to pay a prorated penalty equivalent up to two (2) months’ rental fee.

9.3 The minimum rental period for this Agreement is one (1) year.

10. Return of Vehicle

10.1 The Hirer shall return the vehicle in the same condition as received, ordinary wear and tear excepted, at the end of the rental period or upon termination of this Agreement.

10.2 Any damage or excessive wear and tear shall be assessed, and the Hirer may be liable for the costs of repair or replacement.

11. General Provisions

11.1 Notices: Any notice required or permitted under this Agreement shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been given when delivered personally or sent by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the respective addresses of the parties as set forth above.

11.2 Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties hereto and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties.

11.3 Amendments: This Agreement may be amended only by a written agreement signed by both parties.

11.4 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

11.5 Severability: If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

11.6 Waiver: No waiver of any term or condition of this Agreement shall be deemed to be a waiver of any other term or condition, nor shall any waiver be deemed to be a continuing waiver.
