iDrive.SG offers a wide range of vehicles for rent, including cars, motorcycles, vans, buses, trucks, boats and construction vehicles. Whether you need a vehicle for personal use, business, or industrial purposes, we’ve got you covered.

  How do I rent a vehicle on iDrive.SG?

Renting a vehicle is easy. Simply register as a renter under the "To Rent" page and start browsing through the available listings using our dynamic filters, select your preferred vehicle, and follow the prompts to book it. You can search by vehicle type, location, availability, and price.

  What are the requirements to rent a vehicle on iDrive.SG?

To rent a vehicle, you must possess a valid driver’s license, and meet any additional requirements specified by the vehicle owner. Some vehicle types may have specific conditions, which will be outlined in the listing.

  Can I book a vehicle for immediate use, or do I need to book in advance?

You can search for vehicles available for immediate rental or book in advance. Availability is updated in real-time, so you can find vehicles that meet your timeline needs.

  What is included in the rental price?

The rental price typically includes the vehicle itself, basic insurance, and any standard amenities listed by the vendor. Additional services, such as GPS, child seats, or extra insurance, may incur extra charges, which will be specified in the listing.

  How do I make a payment for my rental?

Payments are processed securely through the iDrive.SG platform. You can pay using major credit cards or PayNow. You will get a 1% rebate for using PayNow. The rebate can be used for subsequent bookings.  Payment is required at the time of booking to secure your rental.

  Can I cancel or modify my booking after it has been confirmed?

Yes, you can cancel your booking through your iDrive.SG account. Cancellation and modification policies vary depending on the vehicle owner’s terms, so be sure to review these details before booking. A cancellation fee of 8% applies to the rental fee. 

  What should I do if I encounter issues with the vehicle during my rental?

If you experience any issues with the vehicle, contact the vehicle owner directly through the iDrive.SG platform. For emergency assistance, follow the instructions provided in your rental confirmation or refer to the vehicle owner’s emergency contact details.

  How do I return the vehicle after my rental period?

Vehicle return instructions are provided in your booking confirmation. Generally, you’ll need to return the vehicle to the agreed location at the end of your rental period. Ensure the vehicle is in the same condition as when you received it, to avoid any additional charges.

  What are the penalties for late returns or vehicle damage?

Late returns may incur additional charges, which will be outlined in the rental agreement. If the vehicle is returned with damage that was not pre-existing, repair costs may be deducted from your security deposit. All late return fees, penalties and damages will be deducted from your depsoit if any and the outstanding amount will be sent to you for payment through email. 

  Are there any platform fee for renters on top of the rental fee?

iDrive do not charge any platform fee on renters. You pay exactly what the rental companies charges. The only thing we charge is 3% transaction fee of the security deposit as we need to cover the payment gateway charges as the security deposits will be returned to you upon the completion of the booking. 

  Is there any loyalty program for using iDrive?

We offer attractive rebates of up to 2% for your rentals which can be used for your subsequent bookings. The membership status and your entitled rebates percentage will be reflected under your e-wallet. 

  How do I get back any refunds?

All refunds to bookings or refunds to security deposits will be automatically processed and added to your e-wallet. You can easily withdraw the refunds by clicking the "Withdraw" button under the renter dashboard and select your preferred transfer method either through bank transfers or PayNow.

  How do I become a vendor on iDrive.SG?

Becoming a vendor is simple. Visit our "To List" page and fill out the registration form. Once approved, you can start listing your vehicles for rent.

  What types of vehicles can I list on iDrive.SG?

  How does the booking process work for vendors?

Once your vehicle is listed, customers can browse and book directly through our platform. You’ll receive real-time notifications for bookings and can manage your fleet through our user-friendly dashboard.

  Is there a fee to list my vehicles on iDrive.SG?

It is FREE to list your vehicles. iDrive.SG only charge a platform fee of 8% on each successful booking. We do not charge a platform fee for security deposits. The platform fee is to cover our costs associated with payment gateway charges, loyalty program rebates, hosting, storage, maintenance, marketing and promotions. 

  How do I manage my vehicle listings and bookings?

You can manage all aspects of your listings, bookings, and customer interactions through the iDrive.SG vendor dashboard. The platform offers tools to update vehicle availability, set pricing, and track bookings in real-time.

  What support does iDrive.SG provide to vendors?

iDrive.SG offers dedicated vendor support, including assistance with account opening, rental agreement set up, putting up your listings, managing bookings, and optimizing your vehicle rentals. We also provide marketing tools where you can run promotions or to help increase visibility for your listings.

  How do I receive payments for my rentals?

Payments for rentals are processed securely through our platform and transferred direclty to your e-wallet in your account. You just need to put up a Payout request to withdraw from your e-wallet to your bank account. You can choose bank transfer or PayNow for the Payout request. 

  What if I need to cancel a booking or if a customer cancels?

Cancellations are handled through the iDrive.SG platform. Vendors can set their own cancellation and refund policies, which will be stated clearly at the listing page to customers at the time of booking. In the event of a cancellation, any applicable fees or refunds will be processed according to the terms of the vendor agreement. When rental companies cancel a booking for any reason, any applicable refunds will be made from rental company's e-wallet to renter's e-wallet. The platform fee will not be returned to the rental company for any cancellations.
