Rental Agreement This document is an agreement stating the terms of rental of motorcycle according to the booking information (hereafter referred to as "motorcycle") from Marvel Best Motorcycle Rental (hereafter referred to as "Company") to the hirer according to the booking information (hereafter referred to as "User").
Term of Rental
The rental period is according to the booking information. The agreed rental fee plus a refundable deposit is according to the booking information.
For any extension of the rental period, both the Company and the User must agree to the terms of the extension. For extension of rental, the agreed payment has to be made by the before the start of the extension day via any recognised electronic means, e.g. PayNow, bank transfer.
Liabilities
The Company must ensure that the motorcycle has insurance coverage and ensure that the motorcycle is in working condition before handing it to the User. The company is not liable for any damages or injuries arising from using the motorcycle.
The User is:
● Not liable for normal wear and tear.
● Liable for all damages to the motorcycle, and all costs arising from these damages, including towing fees.
● Liable for first $1500 for at-fault third party claims in an accident (or $4000 for riders younger than 24 yr or with less than 2 years since obtaining 2B licence.)
● Liable for all penalties arising from traffic, parking and other offences.
The User is required to ensure that the motorcycle is in good condition before returning to the Company. The User will continue to be liable (limited to the terms stated above) up till the time that he or she returns the motorcycle (refer to “Return of Motorcycle” below).
Return of Motorcycle
The motorcycle must be returned with all parts and accessories, including
● Original keys to the vehicle
● Rack and box
The motorcycle should be returned to the basement car park at 3 West Coast Walk (The Parc) in its original condition by 9 pm on the last day of the rental period.
If the motorcycle or key is returned late, the User will have to pay a daily rate of $22 per day. This is to compensate the Company for the loss of rental income. There is also a late payment fee of $2 per day for late payment of rental charges.
The refundable deposit will be returned to the User after the Company has a reasonable opportunity to ascertain that there is no damage to the motorcycle and no outstanding traffic offences/summons (around 4 working days).
The Company has the right to demand reasonable compensation from the User should there be losses or damages to the motorcycle and accessories, e.g. if parts or
accessories are missing. The User is advised to inspect the motorcycle and take photographs of the motorcycle when taking over and handing over the motorcycle.
If the motorcycle is not returned within 4 days after the agreed rental period, the matter will be reported to the authorities. To avoid such a situation, the User is advised to remain contactable via his or her mobile number.
Other Terms and Conditions
Throughout the rental period,
● mobile text messages (including WhatsApp messages) will be the official mode of contact between the User and the Company.
● should the User change his or her mobile number, he or she has to inform the Company of the new number within 24hr.
● should the Company change its contact number, the Company has to inform the User of the new number within 24hr.
● should there be any damages involving the motorcycle (including but not limited to third-party damages), the User must inform the Company immediately.
● if the motorcycle breaks down or becomes unsafe to ride, the renter must inform the Company immediately and provide the location of the motorcycle, street name, nearest landmarks and photographs of the location.
● if the motorcycle is involved in any accidents, the renter must call the Company immediately, provide photographs of the motorcycle and accident site, and take down the details of any other vehicle(s) involved. This includes vehicle licence plate numbers, drivers’ names, phone numbers, location, etc.
● the User is to exercise reasonable care, including but not limited to parking the motorcycle only at safe locations and using only Ron 95 unleaded petrol.
● the User has to bring the motorcycle for servicing every 1000/2000 km travelled at appointed workshops.
● the User must not modify the motorcycle (e.g. painting it, modifying the seat, changing the mirrors, windshield, fairing, mudguard, bracket or signal lights).
● the motorcycle must not be used for deliveries without consent from the Company.
● the motorcycle must not leave Singapore without authorisation from the Company.
● if the motorcycle is brought out of Singapore, it must be brought back to Singapore and returned to the Company in its original condition.

Declaration
Both the Company and the User agree to all terms and conditions stated, and were truthful in their communications with each other.
Other fees and charges:
● There is also a late payment fee of $2 per day for late payment of rental charges.
● Please return the motorcycle in a reasonably clean condition, or a $58 cleaning fee will be imposed. There should not be excessive mud, soil or cement on the
motorcycle and the box should be emptied.
● A $5 administration fee may be imposed for each traffic-infringement in addition to the official fine or penalty.
● A key replacement fee will be imposed of $98 if the key is not returned together with the motorcycle.
● If the motorcycle or key is returned late, the User will have to pay a daily rate of $22 per day. This is to compensate the Company for the loss of rental income.
Terms and Conditions:
● All transactions are processed and all prices are quoted in Singapore dollars.
● User must not allow any other person to drive the motorcycle.
● User must not make any modification to the motorcycle (e.g. painting it, modifying the seat, changing the mirrors, windshield, fairing, mudguard, bracket or signal
lights).
● User must not ride through any water, including flooded roads.
● Inflate the tyres at least one every 2 weeks and check regularly that the tyre threads remain visible. Do not ride if the tyres are flat or worn-out. Examples of bad tyres:

● Only use the motorcycle on good roads (do not go off-road or onto flooded areas).
● The Company is not responsible for injury suffered by the User or passenger while using the motorcycle. Please note that various parts of the motorcycle can get hot. Check the area under the motorcycle for leakage and test the brakes before use.
● The Company is not responsible for any items lost or stolen from the motorcycle, even if the motorcycle has to be towed. It is the User’s responsibility to remove or secure all items if leaving the motorcycle unattended.
● The User must adhere to all laws and regulations.
● Mobile text messages (including WhatsApp messages) will be the official mode of contact between the User and the Company.
● Should the User change his or her mobile number, he or she has to inform the Company of the new number within 24hr.
● Should the Company change its contact number, the Company has to inform the User of the new number within 24hr.
● Should there be any damages involving the motorcycle (including but not limited to third-party damages), the User must inform the Company immediately.

● If the motorcycle is involved in any accidents, the renter must call the Company immediately, provide photographs of the motorcycle and accident site, and take
down the details of any other vehicle(s) involved. This includes vehicle licence plate numbers, drivers’ names, phone numbers, location, etc. Kindly refer to the
section below titled “In the event of an accident”.
● The User is to exercise reasonable care, including but not limited to parking the motorcycle only at safe locations and using only Ron 95 unleaded petrol.
● The User has to bring the motorcycle for servicing every 1000/2000km ridden, and only to appointed workshops.
● The motorcycle must not be used for deliveries without consent from the Company.
● The motorcycle must not leave Singapore without permission from the Company.
● If the motorcycle is brought out of Singapore, it must be brought back to Singapore and returned to the Company in its original condition.
● The User should use the motorcycle with reasonable care and caution.
● Ride the motorcycle only within Singapore, unless otherwise specified. Do not ride into areas demarcated as protected places or state land.

If the motorcycle is not returned by the agreed time and date, the user may be deemed to have stolen the motorcycle. The Company would take steps to repossess the
motorcycle, including making a police report, and confiscate the deposit. The User is also responsible for any towing fees incurred in such a case.
In the event of an accident:
The user must:
● Firstly, ALWAYS stay in a safe position away from traffic.
● If anyone is seriously injured, call 995 for an ambulance immediately.
● Do not admit any liability or fault. Do not mention that it is a rental vehicle.
● Take down the licence plate number of the other vehicles involved .
● Ask for the other drivers’ information, in order of importance:
○ Telephone numbers
○ Names and last 4 characters of ID
○ Any injuries due to the accident.
○ If they have any video recording of the accident.
● From a safe place, take photos of any damages to other vehicles involved in the accident, then photos of the road and traffic conditions, then photos of any damages to the motorcycle that you are riding.
● Take photos of any injuries that you or your passenger have, if any.
● When safe to do so, move the motorcycle to the side of the road and pick up any motorcycle parts that dropped off without putting yourself in danger.
● Take note of the date and time of the accident.
● If possible, take down the contact numbers of an eye-witness who is not a passenger in the vehicles involved.
● If you are injured and cannot ride, leave the motorcycle there and go to a doctor. Take photos of the location and note the street name and landmarks before leaving.
● If you are well enough to continue riding, inspect the motorcycle to ensure that it is safe to ride. Do not ride if you see fluids leaking from the motorcycle or if the tyres are completely flat. Check the brakes carefully before riding off. Ride slowly to the nearest petrol station to inflate the tyres and do a thorough inspection of the motorcycle again, for your own safety.
● Do not allow anyone to tow away the motorcycle, unless the tow-truck is from EMAS, LTA or traffic police.
● As soon as it is safe to do so, inform Adam (from the motorcycle rental Company) at 90123644 and update with all the information above.
● After informing the motorcycle rental Company, make an insurance report within 24 hr or by the next working day. Adam will advise on how to make the report. A police report may be required if there are injuries involved.
● At all times, stay at a safe location and look out for other moving vehicles or dangers. Look out for spills or sharp objects on the floor. Do not engage in argument with other drivers, just take photos of the vehicle numbers if the drivers do not cooperate. Your safety is the top priority.
